Upon graduation, every black college graduate should become a teacher for at least one year but preferably two. The benefits of this are: 1. To immediately affect the black public education experience. 2. To offer visibility into the challenges faced by our community. 3. Give a ‘coming of age’ experience that a large portion of the race will experience and aspire to. 4. To foster a sense of responsibility and stewardship for one’s community.
